Our little shop really is full to bursting with everything from shoe laces to crystal glasses. We hear the phrase "I didn't know you did that" at least once a week! Here are some of our favourite "did you knows?"

LEATHER GOODS

We stock a range of quality leather belts (full leather, not plastic with a thin leather backing!)

We are have a selection of leather purses and wallets and handbags that our sister company

Warminster Engraving can personalise leather items like belts or wallets with a name or initials.

SHARPENING

Did you know we sharpen tools?
We are able to sharpen garden shears, chisels and knives. At this time we are unable to sharpen scissors.

SHOE REPAIR AGENCY IN FROME

Did you know we have an agency for our shoe repair service in Frome?
If it is easier for you then you can drop off and collect your shoes from Frome Valley Cleaners town centre shop or their Clink Road workshop

YE OLDE COBBLER SHOP

Did you know, our shop didn't always look like it does now. Until the late 1980's it was a lean to building with a driveway to the left. My father knocked the old shop down and had 2 units built in it's place.

RODNEY

This is Rodney our hammering cobbler. He's had many locations within our shop, sometimes high up in the corner overlooking proceedings and often in our window.
Did you know we ran a Facebook poll a few years ago to name him? We loved the idea of Rodney, the sign on his stand reads "My name is Rodney, but some people call me Dave"

FAMOUS RODNEY

Did you know, our Rodney is famous? We were asked a few years ago by a production company if they could borrow him to appear on a TV series. He made his way down to Cornwall and starred along side Martin Clunes in Doc Martin. He was on screen for all of about 3 seconds!
